XML & XHTML Validator

This tool will check a given URI (e.g. a URL) to see if it is well-formed and valid XML. Since XHTML pages are supposed to be valid XML, this will also work on any web page written to the XHMTL specification.

Well-formed means following the rules of XML. Valid means that it also follows the rules of the DTD or schema. A document without a DTD or schema definition cannot be valid.
